Smart Production Line Passes Trial Runs as First GCC Export Leaves Port

Time: 2025-10-27
October 2025 — Oriental Housing Group (Jinan) announced today that its newly built smart-welding hall has completed trial production and is ready for formal operations. The facility, equipped with robotic welding stations and an automatic sandwich-panel laminator, is expected to shorten lead times and allow greater customization of container modules.
At the same time, the company loaded its first shipment of fold-flat container houses bound for the Middle East. The units will serve as temporary accommodation on a large-scale housing program, marking the firm’s entry into the Gulf market.
General Manager Liu Feng said the dual milestone reflects a strategy of “upgrading plants while widening routes to market.” He added that the new line will free up capacity for higher-spec modules that meet updated fire-safety rules for multi-storey temporary buildings.
The company has also fitted rooftop solar panels on the new hall. The array will cover a significant share of daytime power demand and lower the plant’s carbon footprint.
With the smart line now online and an overseas sales office set to open later this year, the company says it is prepared to serve rising demand for rapid-deployment modular space across construction, disaster relief and remote hospitality projects.
About Oriental Housing Group (Jinan) Established in 2014, the company designs and manufactures container-based modular buildings for customers throughout Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Its portfolio includes site offices, worker dormitories, tourist lodges and emergency shelters.
